Igor is a 25-year-old cinematographer based in Slovenia, whose work is grounded in a deep sensitivity to human experience and dedication to the visual arts. Drawing from a background in photograph, and film, his cinematography seeks to explore the emotional resonance of image making, capturing not just how life looks, but how it feels.

Central to Igor’s practice is a strong narrative instinct and a keen eye for atmosphere, honed through years of working across various roles on set, including as a photographer, gaffer, and photo assistant alongside international crews. These experiences have given him a comprehensive understanding of the production process and an ability to collaborate fluidly within both intimate and large-scale environments.

As a Director of Photography, Igor is interested in how light, space, and movement shape emotion. His recent work is concerned with themes of memory, resilience, and the beauty found in everyday life. Drawing influence from Balkan sensibilities and personal history, he approaches cinematography as a poetic language; one that bridges the personal and the universal.

For Igor, the camera is not just an instrument, but a means of reflection. Through it, he seeks to make visible the quiet truths that often go unnoticed  and to give lasting form to the fleeting moments that define us.
